Rezzer Instructions:
Setting up your Rezzer is simple and quick. All basic options are menu driven and can be accessed simply by touching the rezzer itself.
Once you've brought up the main menu you will be presented with these options.
-Level
-Dmg Velocity
-Show/Hide
-Rez Location
-Delay
-Group
-Instructions
-Monsters
-Detect Range
Level-
All rezzers come with three level options labeled 1, 2, and 3. 1 being the easiest and 3 being the hardest.
Dmg Velocity-
SL physics are not perfect and the mobs have a physics based health system. One of the main issues I had with earlier versions was the fact that melee weapons and ranged weapons detect different variants in velocity. The "Dmg velocity" feature allows the owner to raise or lower the velocity detection of the monster. By default velocity is set to 4 which is just low enough to detect Spell Fire melee weaponry. Melee weaponry that does not spawn damage objects require you to set the mobs to a low setting. A setting of 3 will detect avatar collisions but not attached objects so you must actually walk into the mob for it to detect the avatar and take damage. 3 and lower may take damage from environmental objects.
Show/Hide-
This option will allow you to show or hide the rezzer object. If you hide it and can not find it again press ctrl+t to see transparent objects.
Rez Location-
This option will let you change how far away from the rezzer it should rez mobs.
Delay-
The Delay menu will allow you to increase or decrease the number of seconds the rezzer will delay itself before returning to normal scanning mode. By default delay is set to 60 seconds. This is to keep rezzers from triggering anti grief tools in place by Linden Labs like the grey goo fence. I do not recommend setting the rezzer any lower.
Group-
This option allows you to choose anyone, for group and not for group. The set group is the group listed on the rezzer for land setup.
Anyone = Anyone will trigger the rezzer
For group = Only people in the set group will trigger the rezzer.
Not for group: Only people not in the set group will trigger the rezzer.
Instructions-
This option will give you a copy of this notecard if you loose it.
Monsters-
This sub menu gives you the option to increase or decrease the number of monsters which are rezzed during the cycle the maximum is 5.
Detect Range-
By pressing + or - you will increase or decrease in one meter increments the range that the rezzer scans for avatars in all directions. By default rezzers should be set to 0. You will have to increase this number for rezzers to detect avatars.
All of the menus will prompt you with a message informing you of what has just changed so you'll always know where your settings are.
